Bill Goldberg and Deion Sanders were teammates on the Atlanta Falcons in 1992. Now, their sons are teammates at the University of Colorado.

Goldberg’s son, Gage, is a redshirt freshman defensive lineman for the Buffaloes. Sanders’ son, Shilo, is a redshirt junior cornerback.

They are both excited to be playing together again

Both Gage Goldberg and Shilo Sanders are excited to be playing together again. They played together in high school at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida.

“It’s a blessing,” Gage Goldberg said. “I’ve known Shilo since I was 5 years old. We’ve always talked about playing together in college, so it’s a dream come true.”

“He’s a guy who’s always willing to put in the work,” Sanders said. “He’s a great kid, and I’m excited to see him succeed.”
