Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl Hero Passes Away

Details of his untimely demise are still being unraveled

Jacoby Jones, the former NFL wide receiver and kick returner who helped the Baltimore Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII with the longest play in NFL history, has died at the age of 40, the team announced Sunday.

Jones was a key contributor to the Ravens' Super Bowl victory in 2013, scoring two touchdowns, including a 108-yard kickoff return that was the longest play in Super Bowl history.

Jones played for the Ravens from 2012 to 2014, and also had stints with the Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, and Dallas Cowboys. He finished his NFL career with 3,297 receiving yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, and 1,597 kickoff return yards.
